Above and Beyond Award
Each month the YMCA
honors an individual or group for outstanding volunteer service. The recipients
of the award have demonstrated the YMCA's mission: "To put Christian
principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind, and
body for all!"

pictured above have been chosen by the staff of Montgomery County Family YMCA
to receive the April “Above & Beyond” award because of their dedication to
health and wellness. Both recipients say that they have
known that exercise and living a healthy lifestyle is the right way to live a long
healthy life, and that they have made the YMCA a part of their lifestyle. Exercise helps them to feel good about
themselves; they have made new friends and enjoy the friendly staff at the YMCA.
