Art Class’s “Easter Bonnet” Event

The Montgomery County Family YMCA offered its third and final
"Chris's Art Class" for the 2007 – 2008 school year. Chris Johnson, a retired art teacher who lives in Red
Oak, volunteered to teach art classes for students Kindergarten through 8th
grade from December 2007 – March 2008.
The final class was held at the YMCA on Saturday, March 8th, with a
theme of "Easter Bonnets" for students in kindergarten – 3rd grade.
The YMCA would like to express its deepest appreciation to Chris
Johnson for her volunteer time in working with many youth on various art
projects for area students who deeply enjoyed the art classes. The YMCA
hopes to offer more art classes with Chris for the 2008 – 2009 school year, so
