HSB Makes Annual YMCA Chairman's Round Table Gold
Sponsorship Gift

Jim Sifford, President of Houghton State
Bank and Nick Zimmer, YMCA Executive
Houghton State Bank of Red Oak, Iowa recently presented the
Montgomery County Family YMCA a check for $2,000 for Houghton State Bank's
annual YMCA Chairman's Round Table Gold Sponsorship. These funds assist many
YMCA programs such as:
* Trim Kids a program that helps families and children learn better
eating habits, exercise regularly to help fight obesity for young children.
* The YMCA's Endowment program, to help prepare the YMCA for the
long-term future and continue to have the YMCA services for generations to
come. The endowment funds are invested and the YMCA is able to use the earnings
from the invested funds to assist the YMCA's operational and program needs.
* The YMCA's "Membership for Everyone" campaign—This
program is designed so that no one is denied the opportunity to belong as a
member of the YMCA or participate in YMCA programs due to financial
limitations.
* Sponsorship funding to the YMCA's Fall Best Ball golf
tournament - with all proceeds from the tournament benefiting the YMCA's
"Membership for Everyone" program.
* Sponsorship fund to the Elliott Fall Festival Run/Walk that the
YMCA offers annually.
* Sponsorship to the Red Oak Youth Wrestling Tournament that is
held annually in January.
* Youth sports tank-tops that are worn by YMCA youth sports
participants in many of the YMCA youth sports programs offered throughout the
year.
* Sponsorship funding for various banners at the YMCA.
Nick Zimmer, YMCA Executive Director, expressed his appreciation to
Houghton State Bank for being a true friend of the YMCA. Along with the bank
being a true friend to the Red Oak community and surrounding area, Zimmer

"Chairman's Roundtable" for prepaid yearly sponsorships to many
programs at the YMCA. Along with Houghton State Bank as a member of the YMCA's
"Chairman Roundtable" are CDS Global, Red Oak Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep,
& Parker Hannifin all of Red Oak. If your business is interested in the
