Acquatics/Youth Sports Director at Montgomery County Family YMCA

 

 

The Montgomery County Family YMCA is pleased to announce that Phil Lamb has accepted a position at the YMCA as Acquatics/Youth Sports Director. Phil graduated from Red Oak High School in 1982, and then attended Universal Technical Institute in Omaha, Nebraska.  He started working with Douglas & Lomason (Romech) and worked 24 years in many positions.  Phil spent the last 12 years as the Systems Administrator before the facility was closed in 2007.

 

Phil is married to Traci who is currently attending Southwestern Community College in Creston for nursing and will finish her RN year at the Red Oak campus in 2009.  They have two daughters; Kelsey who is a freshman at Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph, Missouri, and Kourtney, who is a sophomore at Red Oak High School.

 

Phil is currently on the Red Oak Park & Tree Board, and has served on the Red Oak Tag-A-Longs as a board member and as co-president with Traci.  Phil has been active with the youth sports programs both as a coach and as a program administrator.  Current activities include running, bicycling, swimming, racquetball, tennis, basketball, music, and motorcycles.  He also enjoys spending time with his family at the Lake of the Ozarks.
