What: Strength training is a great supplement to your walking or other cardiovascular exercise regimen. If you’d like to add some strength training to your workout or would just like to get started exercising, we have a new class for you.
This is a 30-minute class where we will work with resistance bands, dumbbells, and our own body’s resistance to work on strength, stamina and balance. Plus it’s a lot of fun to get together with others at the YMCA to get healthy.
If you feel a little nervous that your balance or strength aren’t great, not to worry, this class can be done from chairs that are available in class.
