2010 Summer Youth Tennis Program

The week of July 12th – 16th will see the end of the Montgomery County Family YMCA’s summer youth tennis program. Over 75 participants from age 3 to 15 took part in the 6 week program. Lessons were held twice a week for 5 of the different age groups with the Tiny Tot group meeting only once a week. Lessons focused on the basics of tennis while promoting a fun atmosphere. This was the YMCA’s first year running the summer youth program, taking it over from the Red Oak Tennis Association, who ran the program for more than 20 years.

For more information regarding YMCA programs, contact the YMCA at (712) 623-2161 or visit the YMCA’s website at www.mcymca.com.
