Nancy Zimmer Wins $1,000 Donation for MCYMCA

CalFirst
National Bank out of Irvine, California is honored to make a recent donation of
$1,000 to the Montgomery County Family YMCA in the name of Nancy Zimmer, YMCA
employee who works part time as the YMCA's adult volleyball coordinator and a morning
lifeguard.
CalFirst National Bank's Non-Profit Division works closely with many YMCA's
throughout the United States by providing YMCA's with specialized leasing and
financing for YMCA fitness equipment, building renovations, vehicles, etc.
This year CalFirst National Bank decided to start a donation contest for all
the YMCA's in the United States. The contest was tied into the 2008 Men's NCAA
College Basketball Tournament, better known as "March Madness.” Nancy entered
the bracket challenge, along with 200 other YMCA staff members, and won the
donation for the $1,000 drawing. These donations are a way for CalFirst
National Bank to show its appreciation to its best customers, and also to the
YMCA's throughout the country for the outstanding programs and services they
provide their community and service area.
Zimmer plans to have the $1,000 go towards an enhancement of the YMCA in either
the women's locker room swimming suite dryer or more landscaping mulch for the
YMCA's beautiful parking lot. Nancy has also been a dedicated YMCA volunteer in
many capacities since 1997, including being the YMCA Board of Directors
President in 1999.
